TRAVELING BY CAR

Richmond Raceway provides several parking options, including free general parking and paid lots closer to the grandstands. During major NASCAR weekends, spots can fill up fast, so it's a good idea to arrive early to secure the best location.

The Raceway is situated in Henrico County, just a few miles north of downtown Richmond. Sandwiched between Richmond-Henrico Turnpike and Carolina Avenue, it is most conveniently accessed via I‑64, I‑95, or I‑295.

Route Details & RV Access

Cars: Take I‑64, I‑95, or I‑295 to the appropriate exit, then follow signs for Richmond Raceway.

RVs & Campers: Your access gate depends on your camping lot:

• Lot F campers should enter through Gate 7.
• Lot J campers should use Gate 14.
• Campers parked near the Turnpike should enter via the Service Gate. Be sure to follow directional signage or staff instructions for smooth entry.

Directions from major cities

From Washington, D.C. (≈120 mi):

• Take I‑95 South toward Richmond
• Merge onto I‑295 South (Richmond bypass) and follow it to the Raceway exit

From Baltimore, MD (≈200 mi):

• Follow I‑95 South through Washington, D.C., continuing on toward Richmond.
• Use the I‑295 Richmond bypass exit toward Henrico.

From Raleigh, NC (≈165 mi):

• Head north on I‑95, then take I‑64 West toward Richmond.
• Merge onto I‑295 North and exit for the Raceway.

From Norfolk/Virginia Beach (≈100 mi):

• Travel west on I‑64 toward Richmond.
• Near Richmond, connect to I‑295 North and follow the raceway exit signs.

• Keep an eye out for traffic updates on race weekend–alternate routes via I‑295 can help avoid delays on I‑95/I‑64.
